How we handle the information you give us.

We collect little, we name every tool that records your visit, and we do not sell what they record for money. This page says exactly what “little” means, because a policy that cannot be checked is not a policy.

Section 01What we collect

Four categories, and nothing else on this website.

Information you type. When you send a message or request the research, we receive the name, firm, work email address, topic and message you entered. Nothing on the site asks for a financial account number, a government identifier or a health detail, and you should not put one in a message.

Information your browser sends. Standard server request data: internet protocol address, the page requested, the time, the referring page and a user-agent string. This is what a web server records in order to serve a page and to notice abuse.

Information our measurement and visitor-identification tools record. Four tools run when you visit leverventure.com, and only after you allow them. Each is named here with what it records, why we use it and how to opt out.

Google Analytics (tag G-G4R17PSCRJ) uses cookies to record the pages you view, how long you stay, the page that sent you, your device and browser type, and an approximate location worked out from your internet protocol address. We use it to see which pages people read, so we can improve the site. To opt out, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or block cookies in your browser.

Our own visit log (a script served from leverventure.com) records the pages you view, how far you scroll, the links you click and a visitor identifier worked out from your browser and screen settings and kept in your browser. When you fill in a form, it links the visit to the name, firm and email address you enter. We use it to see how people find and use the site. To opt out, leave Analytics off under Your privacy choices.

The Apollo website tracker (loaded from assets.apollo.io) records the pages you view and your internet protocol address, and Apollo may match the visit to a company or to a business contact record in its database. We use it to learn which organizations are interested in the firm, and we may contact a business that visited. To opt out, ask Apollo to remove your information, block the script in your browser, or ask us through the contact form not to contact you.

LiveIntent is loaded by the Apollo tracker, not by us directly. It sets its own cookies on leverventure.com and uses them, with your internet protocol address, to match the visit to a company or a business contact. It runs only when the Apollo tracker does, so leaving Marketing off stops both. LiveIntent describes what it does with that data in its privacy policy.

Information two services process on our behalf. The forms on this site are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a script. To do that it reads the request’s internet protocol address and basic browser signals. It does not track you across other websites and it does not set an advertising identifier. The assistant on this site, LeverAI, stores every question you ask it and the answer it gives, including any name or email address you give it, so we can answer your question, see what people are asking and improve the answers. Most questions are answered directly from what we have published, with nothing leaving our systems. When a question is not covered by what we have published, your message is sent to OpenRouter and the underlying AI model it routes to so an answer can be generated; that only happens for a question our own published material cannot answer. Conversations are kept for 12 months and then deleted. Do not enter sensitive information in it: no health details, financial account numbers, government identifiers or confidential company information. If you would rather not have a conversation stored, use the contact form instead, and you can ask us to delete a conversation at any time.

  • We do not run advertising on this site.
  • We do not buy contact lists and we do not rent or sell ours.
  • We use what the tools above record only for the purposes stated here.
  • We do not sell your personal information for money. Our marketing tools, Apollo and LiveIntent, may count as selling or sharing under California law, so they stay off until you turn them on, and you can turn them off at any time through Your privacy choices. We also honor Global Privacy Control.

Section 02Why we use it

To answer the message you sent, to send the research you asked for, to answer and follow up on a conversation with the assistant, to understand which pages and which organizations draw interest and follow up with businesses that visited, to keep the site working and secure, and to meet our own record-keeping obligations as an investment manager.

If you ask for the research, we may send you the next edition of it. One click stops it, and stopping it does not affect anything else.

Section 03What we never do

  • Sell, rent or trade personal information for money.
  • Share your message with a marketing partner.
  • Use what you tell us in confidence about your company as a lead for someone else.
  • Send you fund material because you asked an unrelated question.

Section 04Who sees it

Inside the firm, the Managing Partners and the team address. Outside the firm, only service providers acting on our instructions and under contract: website hosting, the analytics, visitor-identification, form protection and assistant services named in Section 01, email delivery, and the firm’s administrator, auditor and counsel where a matter requires it. Each is bound to use the information only to provide the service.

We will disclose information where the law requires it, where a regulator with authority over the firm requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim. If we are ever compelled to disclose something you sent, we will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.

Section 05How long we keep it

Messages and their replies are kept for as long as the relationship they belong to is active, and then for the period the firm’s record-keeping obligations require. Server request logs are kept on a short rolling window and then discarded. Assistant conversations are kept for 12 months and then deleted. Google Analytics and Apollo keep what they record under their own retention policies.

Section 06Your choices

You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop sending you anything. Send the request through the form on the contact page and a person will answer it. We do not require you to create an account to exercise a choice, and exercising one costs you nothing.

Your privacy choices. Before any of the four tools in Section 01 runs, a short notice at the bottom of the page asks you. Necessary cookies are always on: they run the site and its forms, keep spam out of the forms through Cloudflare Turnstile, and remember your choice. Analytics covers Google Analytics and our own visit log. Marketing covers the Apollo tracker and LiveIntent. Both stay off until you turn them on. We remember your choice for up to 12 months in a cookie named lv_consent, then ask again, and we ask sooner if we change the tools we use. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we honor it as a request to opt out of Marketing, and Marketing stays off. To change your choice at any time, use the Your privacy choices link at the bottom of every page. That link is also how you opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Turning a category off removes the cookies and stored data that its tools left on leverventure.com. Cookies that LiveIntent keeps on its own domain are outside this site’s reach, and you clear those through LiveIntent’s own opt-out.

You can also opt out of the measurement and visitor-identification tools directly, using the Google and Apollo links in Section 01, or by blocking cookies and third-party scripts in your browser. Blocking them does not affect the forms or the assistant.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under state or national privacy law, including the right to know what is collected, the right to deletion, the right to correct, and the right not to be treated differently for exercising a right. We honor those requests on the same footing regardless of where you live, because running two standards is how the lower one becomes the real one.

Section 07Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection. Messages are delivered to named mailboxes under multi-factor authentication, and access inside the firm is limited to the people who need it to answer you. No transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise.

Section 08Children

This site is directed to institutions and to adults acting in a professional capacity. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen.

Section 09Changes, and how to reach us

If this policy changes materially, the effective date above changes with it and the prior version is retained. Continued use of the site after a change means the current version applies.

Questions, requests and complaints go through the contact form. There is no published address on this site on purpose: a published address is harvested within days, and then the real messages sit unread behind a thousand others.

Want to know what we hold about you? Ask us, and a person will answer.
