Before you begin

What the application asks, and what it does not.

Four steps of substance and one of documents. Nothing is sent until you reach the end.

The first four steps ask who you are, how the business makes money, what it has proven, and what the capital is for. The fifth is where you attach your pitch deck and any supporting materials.

We invest in life sciences and healthcare across five asset classes, at Series A+ — Series A and later. If your company sits outside these and still fits the thesis, use the strategic allocation option in step one and tell us why.

Two rules worth knowing before you start
A business email address and a company website are required.
Consumer email domains are not accepted, and neither is a social profile in place of a website.
You can stop and come back.
Saving issues an eight character access code and shows it on screen. Your answers are held in this browser, and the code brings them back for 30 days.

Who we back

Series A+, in five asset classes.

Where the science has left the bench, the first customers are real, and the questions left are commercial ones.

StageSeries A+
Series B-C
Series D+

We read companies from Series A onward. By that point there is a product in the market and revenue on the books, and the open questions are the ones we are built to work on: which market to take first, what the unit economics actually say, and how the organization has to be built to carry the growth.

Earlier than Series A is usually too early for the work we do. If you are pre-revenue and believe the fit is there anyway, choose the strategic allocation option in step one and make the case in your own words.

Where the application asks for this
Your stage, in the company’s own words.
Step 01 asks for the stage and the sector. Step 03 asks for the revenue and growth figures behind it.
What the round is for.
Step 04 asks the amount sought and the use of funds. A clear use of funds tells us more than a large number.
